Golang Job Details

Who are we?
The last thing anyone living abroad needs is to figure out how to receive their post from home, right? Well, that’s the exact problem that inspired our founders in 2013 to create an online tool to turn huge PDFs into tiny, email-friendly ones. And it turned out that they weren’t the only ones with this problem; millions of people started using their tool to compress PDFs and that was the explosive start of Smallpdf as we know it today.
Today, we’re a team of over 130 people and 34 nationalities, with offices in Zurich, Belgrade, and Barcelona. We’re proud to have made PDFs—and life—just a little bit easier for over a billion customers in 24 languages with over 20 PDF tools across our web, mobile, and desktop applications.

You’ll be joining the Payments and Monetization team in Zurich. Our goal is to help our users to become and stay happy customers!

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to grow our engineering team
  • Mentor, coach and enable growth for the Engineers in your team
  • Support technical decision making both within your team and across Engineering
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to set product requirements and provide high-level estimates
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to improve and expand Smallpdf's functionality around Payments and Monetization domains
  • Drive adoption and improvement of various KPIs and OKRs both for your team and for Engineering in general

Your profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have:
